Montenero from the Azienda Agricola Ramoino

Vermentino wine selection
Montenero is a Vermentino from the “La Grotta Dipinta” selection, which we set up in order to enhance our top wines. A project that links the first cave paintings, the first forms of art, with the contemporary art of conviviality, a true art for people to meet through wine, synonymous with friendship.
The Montenero Ligurian wine is a Vermentino with a good structure, aromatic and floral, whose elegant dynamism is well represented by the Lascaux Horse, a cave painting which characterises the Lascaux cave, in central France, and dates back to roughly 19 thousand years ago.
The Lascaux Horse
An ethereal figure, darting, alive, a horse that seems to want to carry the viewer on its back. Just like our Vermentino Ramoino, intense, fragrant with white-fleshed fruit, pear and apple, but also peach in the foreground, aromatic, perfect with a prawn or even a lobster, but also for an important aperitif, with seafood appetisers and, why not, with grilled fish.
A wine that tastes of Liguria, of saltiness and iodine, with a flavour of summer, of rotundas on the sea, of seductions, of flirtations and loves that only Ligurian wines are able to create.
