Grape-variety: Ormeasco (Dolcetto).
Growing location: W estern Liguria, altitude 600-800 m.
Alcohol content: 13,% vol.
Colour: ruby red when young, with purple hues on ageing.
Nose: vinous, appealing ripe red fruit.
Taste: dry and warm, with tannins showing nicely when young and softening with some years of ageing
Serving temperature: 18 -20°C
Vinification: in steel, followed by at least 6 months in the bottle.
Best served with: ravioli with a mushroom sauce, and an intriguing match for griddled tuna and swordfish.
Production: approx. 2.000 bottles.
Available from: June, July 2008.
Cellar life: best until 2010.
